Are they all yours? They’re so well behaved. OMG THATS AMAZING! That is just a few of the comments and questions I get while out walking the pack. Because pack walking is such a different, and amazing thing to see walking down the street I wanted to tell you a little about my pack walks. Pack walks are not for every dog. For dogs who are dog-friendly, high energy, and could use a little more training, pack walks are perfect. It not only gets your dog out of the house for up to four hours a day it also gives them mental and physical stimulation and exercise.
When dogs first showed up on this earth they came in packs. It is ingrained in their ancestry to work well as such. These pack walks are based around tapping into the dog’s instinct of working together to achieve a goal. Yes, the wild packs are out to hunt prey but a domesticated pack is out to enjoy distractions, run off energy, and give a piece of mind to the dog owners who don’t have time to walk their dog’s miles a day after they get off work.

To get into the pack walks your dog goes through a trial period where I assess their temperament and personality, I evaluate their movements and let them free play with a few of my bombproof dogs. After they get some energy out and I know they’re non-aggressive I take them on a pack walk with only 5 dogs. Once we get back I do some one on one training so that I can form a bond with them and gain their trust. Once the dog passes the trial period they’re slowly integrated into the packs that fit them best, and they grow from there.
Everyone that sees us is always wondering how we do it because so many people out there are having trouble just walking one dog. They don’t understand how I can get 10-12 dogs to walk next to or behind me so relaxed, let alone through crowded places with other dogs, cats, squirrels and people. That’s why I started this blog. I am going to show you all my secrets on how I get these packs to act the way they do! And guess what? It works with just one dog as well.
I only integrate one new dog at a time so that I can focus my training and time on getting them used to the pack rules and boundaries. Once they become a pro then I start opening up spots for future dogs. That way I am only having to work with one new dog and 9-11 pros who already have the routine down. My pro dogs help teach the new dog and, with a little guidance from me, it becomes perfect harmony…
