Best experience for us & our dog! We couldn’t be happier with Bark n Barrel. Ruby is 1 1/2 and has been coming to daycare and going on pac-walks for 6 months. Ruby has learned how to be social with other dogs and have fun. She comes home tired and a better listener. The pack-walks are amazing, Ruby has learned to walk better on a leash and be around other dogs without overreacting. Our dog Yogi came to us by surprise. Someone my boyfriend knows picked him up off a busy street in the middle of the night. I had always followed Debbie and Bark N Barrel on social media, and I always thought how cool the whole pack walk thing was. I always said I would call Debbie if I ever got another dog. So that is what I did immediately. I have always felt safe leaving him with Debbie as she truly does love all the dogs as her own, and I know safety is a top priority for her. I love the more intimate, family-like feel of the way she works. It’s not just a run of the mill doggie daycare. Debbie truly spends time with each dog, welcomes them into her home, works with them and does training, helps them have the right mindset to be calm in different social situations, and of course monitors how they play and works on correcting any behaviors that are not ideal (Yogi had a few of these). I love that I can ask her questions, and she is always willing to help with great advice on training, etc. Yogi gets so excited to see Debbie when I drop him off, and it makes me so happy that he is so happy! The best part is getting that text in the afternoon from Debbie with photos and videos of Yogi having fun with the other dogs. I was worried for nothing because Yogi turned out to be the sweetest, most loving dog, and I know being with Debbie has helped him become a more socialized and balanced boy all around. I would highly recommend Debbie/Bark N Barrel, and we will continue with her for as long as she will have us.
